This auction is for a used somewhat broken DJI Inspire 1. I’m an idiot and let an “acquaintance” fly my drone for a minute while I did something and he ended up crashing it into a tree and breaking the camera and messing up 2 of the motors. Luckily I was able to replace the two motors (with authentic DJI OEM Parts) and make it flyable again BUT I never did take the time or effort to figure out why the landing gear won’t raise without helping it along. It wobbles from side to side as it’s raising and eventually gives up unless you’re helping it along. The unit is still flyable so long as you turn the option to retract the landing gear OFF in the DJI App. There is nothing bent on the craft. If you set it on a level surface, it sits with all 4 feet square on the ground. It flys like a dream with the new motors as you can see in this video from the other night:http://spikebit.co/OOpS+ I ended up buying a new one because I have zero patience to fix the old one. I’m including a brand new (only 1 charge cycle on it) OEM battery that came from the replacement quadcopter I bought. I’m also including the original remote, 4 propellers, a new package of prop locks, a handful of new unpackaged prop locks, the manuals, and the original case. Everything you see in the pictures is what you get. The unit is flyable right away so long as the landing gear auto-retract option is off. All you need to make it complete is a camera and a battery charger. All the sensors on the bottom of the unit are in perfect condition. From looking at the outside of the unit, I can’t find any damage (as you can see by all the pictures) but something is obviously wrong internally with the lift mechanism since it’s not working like it should. Since this unit was crashed and I’m selling it because I don’t want to take the time to diagnose and fix the landing gear, I’m selling this AS-IS with no returns. My loss is your gain if you’re savvy enough to fix the unit yourself. If you have any questions, please ask and I will do my best to answer them ASAP.
