The Inspire 1 is the culmination of DJI’s various technologies, including an extremely powerful flight controller and DJI’s Lightbridge transceiver system. An optical flow system allows you to fly the Inspire 1 without GPS, including indoors. The Inspire 1’s landing gear retracts after take off, a process that improves the quad’s stability, and it allows for full, 360 degree pan of the gimbal/camera. The camera shoots full 4k UHD video at a variety of frame rates and 12 MP stills. The tremendous versatility of this system is managed through a powerful app (DJI Go).
