Let me start off by saying that the ONLY real drawback to the Ronin is it’s starting weight (9.2 lbs). If you plan on using a lightweight DSLR or mirrorless camera (Sony A7s, Panasonic GH3/GH4, 5D Mark II/III) then the weight is definitely manageable.
