UV Fliter:
UV filter reduces haze and improve contrast by minimizing the amount of ultraviolet light. Epic & Inexpensive I am a senior film-video major at Penn State and have been doing photography for the past few years. For $16.48, this is totally unbeatable.The macro lenses are totally awesome. You can stack as many or as few as you want to get a stronger effect. I’ve used them on a 14-42mm lens, and a 50mm lens. With the 14-42, you can use all of them. With the 50, you can only use one or two. Essentially, the more telephoto the lens, the fewer you can use as the depth of field quickly dissipates…
Inexpensive way to experiment with learning to use a variety of filters I am an amateur/hobby photographer, I would classify myself as an advanced beginner. I have a Nikon D60, and these filters work well for me for the most part.The filters themselves are decent quality as far as the feel of them – they don’t feel flimsy or like they would break easily. The finish on them is a little bit rough, but nothing majorly detracting. I do feel I need to be more careful in putting them on so as to not damage the threads on my lenses, compared to the UV filter…
They’re OK As a review, I give these filters just an OK review. I purchased these b/c I needed a polarized filter. I was going to purchase one for $25 at Best Buy (and probably still will), and then saw these online. I wish I had purchased the one at Best Buy, as I still have yet to take a non-blurry picture using the polarized filter from this package. There is, in my opinion, something wrong with it. The Macro filters I find cool, but again, if you are looking for something quality, pay the higher…
