Works, but with a purple cast I ordered this on faith because there weren’t many reviews so I’m now reviewing in attempt to help other people.This filter is great if you want a cheap way to learn how a Neutral Density Filter works. I was able to stop down to a 2 second exposure at 2 in the afternoon in full sun.HOWEVER, the filter has a terrible purple cast to it when used on the higher settings that WILL show up on your photos. I thought I could fix it in post-processing but I couldn’t, at least not…

  2. Just… okay. I have mixed feelings about this fader filter. First, I’ll have to say it’s very nicely built – I even dropped it on concrete at a photo shoot yesterday and it was not damaged at all. Not even a scratch.It’s got a snug gear and the filter threads are tight. It fits my 58m lenses and my 52mm lens with a conversion ring perfectly.I did notice a significant loss of sharpness around ND150 – not quite halfway. The lens becomes unusable around ND 250 – it leaves dark…
